I'm in the passenger seat of a pickup truck. The road isn't familiar but i think it's an old interstate like Hwy 1. There's barely any other traffic on the road, just the occasional vehicle crossing at the lights we have to stop at when we pass through little towns. There is a man driving but i don't know who he is. I'm not really sure if i'm part of the dream or just a witness but i can clearly tell that i'm sitting in the front seat. I turn to a person sitting in the back seat behind the driver. It's another man but i don't know him either. He's being taken to get his hair cut and i have the impression he doesn't want to go. Then, i'm sitting in the back seat next to this man and i am trying to reassure him that cutting his hair is a good idea. He shows me his hair and i'm amazed at the length. It's in a braid and would easily fall to his knees if he stood up. I get excited because i can see how healthy and brown the hair is and tell him that his one braid could make several wigs for people who don't have hair because of illness. He's still not accepting of the idea and i attempt to find a way to convince him of what a good idea it is. I think he has Down's Syndrome or some sort of brain injury that makes him sort of child-like and i'm having difficulty communicating but it's not at all frustrating. Occasionally the driver pipes in with support for what i'm telling the braided man.

I'm not sure of the significance but it was the second 'hair' dream i had on the plane. An image from Seven Arrows seems to be associated with the braid. It's similar to the cover image on Song of Heyoehkah. So maybe the man represents a warrior? A worrier? Dream language...
