long hair/short hair

This dream preceded the long braid dream.

I'm in a hair salon in the mall i go to sometimes in dreams. Lois is working there and i tell her i want my hair to be cut very short like how i used to wear it. There are lots of people in the shop and the chairs are full of blond ladies having their hair styled or colored. All of the stylists are wearing black capes (like the ones normally put on the person having their hair done). Lois convinces me that cutting my hair isn't a good idea and i should just leave it as it is so i leave the salon. Later, i'm in the VIP section at the AVP in Vegas and Lois comes in. Her hair is cut very short and in the style i used to wear mine and i'm annoyed that she talked me out of having my hair cut off only to turn around and have her own hair cut in the style i wanted.
