I'm in a discount store like a Big Lots or Tuesday Morning. Actually, i seem to recall entering the store through an underground mall (the mall i go to sometimes in dreams?) so there's an earlier part of the dream that hasn't come back to my waking mind yet.
Anyways, in Big Lots i find a pair of shoes i really like and they're my size. I put them on and they feel good. As i'm testing them out i enter an aisle full of music boxes and i'm surprised to see Yoko Ono standing by some empty shelves. She looks wonderful in avant-garde dress, healthy, smiling... I take the shoes off and leave that aisle and go back to the aisle where i left my shoes. I decide i want to go back and say hello to Yoko but when i go back she's having and animated conversation with Christina Aguilera. Christina is dressed sort of 'punk goth' and some of here teeth are darkened out. She's still beautiful though and i'm fascinated to see these two ladies chatting in the empty aisle. They leave and i'm about to follow them when i realize i can't find the shoes i want. A sales lady appears and asks me where i left them. I explained that i'd taken them off and left them by Yoko. I'm kind of upset and walk frantically up and down the adjacent aisles wondering what could have happened to them. The sales lady comments that she likes the shoes i'm wearing and when i look down i see that i'm already wearing the shoes i was looking for.
I suppose the dreams message is i can stop seeking for the things i already have (shoes) and look for something more exotic and interesting (Yoko & Christina).
